We believe that the VCE English Language curriculum is a pathway to understanding human language through the lens of history, sociology, psychology and politics. It is not 'just an English subject'. It is a glimpse into the world of how and why humans do what we do; a subject with life long value.
Madi established VELT in 2019 as an organisation to give students what she wished she had when studying her VCE. The feedback we receive shows we are achieving this every day.

2022
VELT began trialling an online metalanguage course for their current tutoring students.
2020
Innovative online resources became the norm at VELT during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019
VELT was established by Madi to support and empower VCE English Language students through comprehensive individual and group tutoring.
2023
VELT delivered the first of its kind online metalanguage and content learning course for VCE English Language students around Victoria.
2024
VELT's student masterclasses took off, with schools around the state trusting us to cater to their student's and teacher's needs.
